No I do not have any referrals in Baltimore but if there is anyone in the area who would like to hit me and and give me some examples of their work I would love to look them over and if they are good I will forward them on to clients in your area!

Several stylists just can't braid with curly hair as they need to pull it apart as they braid down the cornrow and it tangles. Most tree braiders do not have the experienced know how in keeping the cornrow base braid small and the same size over the whole head. They will blame it on the hair and the rows will be bulky and become loose in less than 7-14 days. Worse yet, the hair just pulls out If they do not know how to do a kind of cross-over non-slip braid technique as they place the hair in the row. I have not visited Kristen yet as she is on the east coast. From what I can see of her work It may be worth the trip especially for us more refine ladies in California.

I just want to thank you for your extensive knowledge on tree braiding and lacing. I am currently transitioning and I am opting not to cut my long hair. So, this is great to be educated on this prior to considering a protective style. Any referrals in the Baltimore area?????
